Since Avatar has an update thread, I thought I'd make one too. Although I'm just going to kindof edit my first post over and over as I add/change/finish things related to BZC. This will give those of you who are interested an update on what I'm doing here and there.

Rubric:
- Not Started = No work done, just an idea.
- WIP = Some work in game, doable, not finished.
- Done = Finished
- Abandoned = ...well, something didn't work right.

Currently working on:

- Working on fiddling with scrollbars, trying to make them look like in BZ1. - WIP

- Idea for making smoke on constructors that only comes on when it's deployed. (i.e. building) - WIP

- Idea for flat clouds you can fly through like in BZ1. Big flat plane models with the clouds texture, set to ownsTerrain = 0 and canCollide = 0. Should work nicely, in theory. - WIP

- Found that I had never plugged in the Bdog wire images I made, oops. Thats work for today...

for clouds why not use localFog? apart from its FPS humping properties are annoying

BZ1's clouds were flat planes of clouds that you could climb a hill and drive through.

Might try using LocalFog in the Extended campaign when I go all out on the renders/effects. For now, trying to recreate BZ1's feel.

And BZ1's "cloud surfing" is a classic thing to me. :P Go play BZ1 on Mars and ramp off a tall hill and fly into the clouds :D I suggest NSDF Mission 3, the first mars mission.
