Mission 7?

I have no idea what causes that one.. I must've been up and down that map 100 times and found nothing.

Just skip that mission.

It happened as the scions began their attack.

I keep trying to beat this mod without cheats and still havent done it :P You should patch it for TA5 maybe?

well, i'm not sure what all these AVs are with QF, i don't recall ever getting any AVs with QF MOD.

It doesn't happen every time, and the 1.1 patch greatly reduced the likelyhood of the mission 7 crash (probably because of how much water I removed).

Fortunately it is the only AV that people still get in the entire mod. Unfortunately, I still don't know how to fix it.

It could be just the sheer size of the map and the amount of terrain hills that cause the crash. It must be something to do with pathing. Maybe just too much pathing. It could be that when a unit is ordered to go a very long distance on that map, that the number of pathing points that the AI creates overwhelms the game and causes it to crash.

That could explain why the Scion attack causes the crash. They are ordered to go right across the map.

I am still unsure though...

Not a clue im afraid. i know nothing about AV's really...

I will see if it works in TA5 in a bit... might need a mini-patch or something.

hmm, well, if it's because of the pathing, then what you could do, is make them come out of a portal nearby, or if you wanted, even a cave or tunnel, if a tunnel, then you could make an invincible gun that keeps you from going down the tunnel, something like that.

The 1st 2 or 3 times i tried the 1st bonus mission it AV'd just as it finished loading, then it was fine
With the second bonus mission, it happens about 15-50 seconds (sorry bout the large range of time) after you hear commander Allman talk. :(
