I'm badgering away for Avatar to finish the Lives function in the DLL, the nanosecond that's done I'll throw out the Demo v2.0 for pb4 wich will have a mini strat map. (limited tech tree)

We have all waited for 7 years, I think we can wait a few more months for potentially the greatest bz2 product of all time.

that's overhyping it a bit don't you think ?


I'm sure it'll be a great mod but at the end of the day it's just gonna be BZ1 all over again, I doubt it'll even come close to knocking FE off the top spot.

good point. FE was damn awesome and by far the most complete mod yet, followed by fleshstorm and QF. i also LOVE the maps made in FE. (particularly the paradise one, which im re-making into a multiplayer map for serenesis with portal support)

Its all very cool re-making BZ1 in the BZ2 engine, but id like to see the other campaigns that will be taking place, like the ancients and things... im still not entirely sure what to expect yet.

yeah but it's my understanding that only the BZ1 stuff will make the initial release, it'll probably be another 7 years before the rest gets released :P ..
