Thanks.

The mbikes were a late addition, when I thought that it was a bit difficult to break enemy lines with the other available units.

Mission 4 I managed to play... Nice mission too, not too easy and not too hard. I used the heaver units to smash the enemy base, I love the tanks.. Or the units avalable in the factory no 6. the the ammo they fire and effects, very good.

Mission 5 I have some issues with. A nice level, but I think the begining is a little too hard. The units I have are low on health and the enemy units that appear through the star portal are overwelmingly hard, and I cannot sniper them. (Shamefully I had to use health cheet to pass this part) but once they had gone it was OK and I played normaly., Only unit that was left was the enginer and his health was 1%. I liked the minefield.... I wont say too much.. Don't want to spoil....

Mission 6 looks hard, but have not played it yet... Wife came home... Nagging about me on battlezone.. Have to close it down :(

I wanted the start of m5 to be difficult so you have to use strategy rather than brute force.

You gotta go out the side, you don't go straight out. (that happened to me too)

Also

why did you make the ammo count 666? (you know why)

Why can't I see the install? I'm using MM5 for pb4a and it detects no mod. And there isn't a new program installed under the start button. There isn't a QF mod under the Add/Remove Programs list. I tried reinstalling and the same thing. I see the Battlezone folder it created in my pb4a directory and the MM4 Definiton file for the QF mod. But there isn't an executable to double-click or anything I can see to start the mod. This same thing happened to me with the Cerberi Revenge mod, so I was never able to test it. What is it that I'm missing?

I've never used MM5

to run the QF Mod I just create a shortcut to BZ2 and add /config qfbzone.cfg to the commandline .

Try this......

Check to see if you have this file in your battlezone 2 folder - "qfdata.pak" and then look in the missions folder for the files "QF1.dll" to "QF14.dll" if they are there then you are ready to go.

If they are not there, you will need to find where you extracted(Installed) them, Best to do a system search and move the files into the battlezone folders. Dll's in the Missions folder pack file where the bzone.exe is.

Then edit the file "bzone.cfg" in notepad. And add this line into it "AddPack("@rootdir\qfdata.pak");" under the "AddDirRecurse("@rootdir\maps13");" found in the file.

this should get you going... manualy.

If I remember correctly you said there was no MP. I would be glad to get it working in MP Human VS Human and then can pass it off to an MPI programmer.

First, DLing to play.

EDIT: If you want I can look into adding a bit more effect around your HUD.
I posted a News post for you.

Strat and DM are fine - and mpi works as long as you are playing as QF and fighting the EDF on stock13 aips.

I don't really need any changes to the HUD. I could do it myself though anyway if I wanted.
